Its all stated and out in the open BUT only if you know whats behind the figures. There are a few steps in the process:-
1)JORC requires standard assay techniques
2) standard assay technique requires nuggets above 3mm to be removed as outlier results which may bias sample.
3) "2)" assumes outlier results due to normally sparse distribution of nuggets
4) CDU's Las Miserable find ( well named... currently ) has 100's of metres of rich native copper nuggets
5) "4)" makes the assumptions behind the JORC method incorrect as the >3mm particles are common rather than rare and therefore cannot be considered outlier results
6) This makes the reported JORC figures misleading but in a different way to the Bendigo Gold JORC which was also wrong due to unsound assumptions.
Quite separately there is the additional RC problem compared to diamond drilling issue; RC rigs leave behind a lot of the native copper in the first place.
Hope this helps - people have in fact been told... they just dont realise it yet!
