The tanks are not going to Ukrainian forces, they are too late for that. What do people think? These tanks are for Poland and for NATO to launch an intervention into Western Ukraine to creat a buffer zone as Ukrainian forces collapse. I have no doubt that Sweden will be part of this intervention force, with Gripens and everything else.
The purpose of the thread is not really to pick sides but to assess how it is all going to impact on international economics and on ASX listed stocks invested in the region.
The above possible scenario was outlined by Brian Berletic in the first half of this video. That would have explained both the German reluctance to send the tanks, and the Polish barracking against the Germans for refusal.
