@tangsIf you claim that Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a crime, then by that same logic Ukraine's invasion of Russia is also a crime.
You are trying to justify a crime with a crime. If you are familiar with the justice system, you would know that this sort of a defence goes nowhere in court in most cases.

Allegedly a good chunk of the troops invading Kursk (that are marking themselves with a triangle) were primarily trained by the United Kingdom, on UK soil.
Armed with NATO technologies and assisted by various intelligence agencies.
The objectives of this incursion are still not exactly clear. If the objective was to grab as much land as possible, in order to improve Ukraine's negotiating position, that objective has failed. The Russian government will not negotiate while Ukraine is occupying Kursk. If the objective was to force Russia into panic and mass-redeployment of troops from other front lines, there is no evidence of that happening either.
So, what is the objective? Embarrass Putin (which is the latest verbal flash-mob going around world's mass media)?
Sacrificing thousands of your best trained troops in order to embarrass Putin seems a little excessive.
This whole thing reminds me of the counter-offensive euphoria of the 2023. I believe everybody remembers how the counter-offensive ended for Ukraine.
