One thing about a confrontation between Russia and the EU:

The Russians people are more prepared and unified than the people in the EU.

I speak in generalities, of course; but we are talking about a large-scale situation.

They can take hardship and suffering; and they love their country.

The EU peoples are used to luxury and are soft.

Money spent on planes and weapons is not the only thing that determines outcomes in war.

The American Revolution, Vietnam, and many other historical conflicts prove this.
