Exactly BBB. What i have been saying all along.
My inital investment was a small % of my share portfolio for 1m options at the time for over $40k. I didnt want to add any more due to the obvious risks but through announcements and communication with management we were lead to believe certain things were to be completed, finalised etc etc...so, based on that info and our research at the time i purchased more, to average down.
Obviously greed has played a big part in my investment decision or lack of but the point is, i and most here would have done the research on information at hand. Information as you nicely pointed out was overstated, incorrect and misleading etc etc. It is their duty (look it up) to provide facts and not some best case scenario each and every time.
