Its not just the brickwork where labour is being saved; it is clear that the intention behind this product is an engineering revolution that slashes the labour and bespoke engineering requirements across a range of trades. Fitting out will take on new meaning with parallel off-site manufacture by factory machines (or imports) rather than skilled tradespersons cutting and tweaking on-site. Doors won't be fitted; they will fit. Windows won't be fitted; they will be put in place. Carpet will be laid pre-cut to size. Wiring harnesses may even be prefabricated. The expert labour constraint (expensive trades) will be rolled back again.
Use your imagination.
Sure, the building has to be rendered...but why would you render it the old fashioned way if another robot (or another attachment) can spray render the exterior and the interior to the same plan? And then paint?
This is the power of the technology; once the plan is in a 3D model and you have a robot that can be relied on to precisely deliver on that model, then the industry won't stop at bricks.
The bricks are just the beginning.
