Ever notice how the picture on the ceiling of the cistene chapel of God giving life to Adam shows God entwined in pre-existing worshippers (i.e. men, women and children). How is that possible when Adam was supposed to be the first? The designers at the direction of the (then) Pope were following orders .... much like the designers of today.
