I grew up believing in all these warm fuzzy instos of democracy, human rights, and freedoms only to find that this moral standard only works when it is convenient. When it doesn't, they use the law to mute criminality considerations, social outcasting, and major narrative building with euphemisms. The same model applied to Ukraine. Never ask questions post-war about the Nazi problem. That only existed pre-war!
