yes I too felt revolted when I read that. and my reaction was and remains negative. its a shot line bro. and yes I've heard enough of those scare mongering stories too.
yet if you listen to those who are genuinely devoted to their faith and not haters of others, they tell of the peace Islam brings, the community and sharing of faith. its more devout than any christian church group I've been involved in, exc the SDAs but these are compelled.
imo each religion is essentially the same, but each region practices their faith differently. you listen to these people and see if you hold that view after.
