Its fixed capital. They don't have redemption's or have to liquidate assets unless they want to. When you sell your shares you need someone to buy them but nothing changes at NBI.

The NTA is determined by marking the bonds to market. Trouble is there is no market for junk bonds. The bid ask spread is huge or in some instances non-existent. If there is no bid then the bonds aret priced at the last sell price and the NTA looks greater than it actually is. Which I imagine is in large part why this is trading below NTA notwithstanding the general risk off mentality.
