Have you seen the layout and preliminary specs for 5G?
The antenna are small but there will be a requirement for lots and lots of them.
I wonder if the Government will have to change the laws to get around the nimby's that don't want them next to schools, kindies and so on.
5G will be a requirement for those driverless cars that are predicted to be available in the future.
5G also uses the fibre backbone that the NBN and others have built.
The competition with the NBN is for the last mile connection to homes and businesses.
I doubt there will initially be a lot of 5g coverage away from built up areas in the early stages of it's rollout.
Also another thing for the conspiracy theorists to worry about.
