Company I worked, imported Irish LAME's.
Caused nothing but trouble.
They did not want to pay their own people a bit more, instead they paid reloacation expenses to import labor.
When they got here, they claimed they were mislead, cost of living too high, wages too low. So the cpmpany paid them rent allowance but not to the Australian emplyees.
Even more resentment, morale shot, company's reputation in tatters.
In the end everybody got pay rise, accommodation allowance scrapped, nobody was happy.
Old employees, new employees, company all unhappy.
Perfect compromise LOL
