when quantas was privatised ,Sir Peter Abeles had this enduring comment "yes you can enjoy all the rights free enterprise has,including the right to go broke",i dont see this happening to telstra but the nbn might be 15 years ahead of its time.
you never know the current govt might capitulate on the totality of the nbn,certainly a liberal govt would water the proposal down.
