Amazing! All those non-socialists said the Nationalised Broadband Network would be a disaster. It would cost many more times the proposed $40B and it would take years longer than the government timelines. And it would be superseded by new technology.

From memory I predicted cost of $80B and finished past 2020.

But this is even worse than the most pessimistic forecasts. Who would have thought a government-run project that had 400 people earning over $200,000pa could be so appallingly run?

Oh wait we all did bar the socialists who said it would be managed perfectly and within budget.

As an aside, I see a report out that has electricity prices up 14.9% because of the carbon tax (and gas and other household fuels up 10.3%) and yet Gillard complains that electricity price rises are unfair and blames the States...

She really is a mediocre mind.
