'Following an evaluation of capability statements, which are due by 15 February, it will invite a shortlist of between five to 10 suppliers to partake in a request for proposal process.'
NWT will be battling uphill. As stated there will be tough competition. No-one has their own satellite focusing on Australia so all parties are on a level playing field.
Interesting the repeated comments about a launch in 2010. Surely not possible but I would think all interested suppliers would be able to launch within 3 years, the timeframe that NWT has now advised it would take them to launch a satellite.
