But wait a minute, wasn't there a major breakthrough during the campaign? Weren't we going to get 10 times the speed originally thought? 1Gb, surely Gillard knew what she was talking about, afterall, she and her mates laughed in the face of Abbott for admitting that his knowledge of broadband was limited. Wasn't Tasmanian NBN connection (during the campaign) proof of its success? Now all they have to do is sign that $43bill cheque and hand it over to Telstra to build. Surely they haven't been fibbing to me?
