    Mr Love is an idiot. The NBN is currently wholesaling for FREE in Tasmania to keep the price as low as possible, to sign up as many people as possible so Mr Conroy can claim success! So even with the wholesale access currently FREE they still can only sign up only 50%. Yes folks that IS a disaster.

    Just wait till market rates are achieved, if you think you'll be paying $35 you are kidding yourself. Remember the $43 billion is paid off from the WHOLESALE rates, if they are calculated as being $35 the actual RETAIL price will be minimum of $50+ but we already know full 100mb will be north of $100.

    People also keep ignoring that the major city centers are riddled with OTHER PEOPLES FIBRE. This fibre will still be there and in direct competition to the NBN. The NBN will not be a monopoly unless they intend to buy out these providers. I can foresee anti competition law suits for years to come.
