mt druitt- there is something i know a little about,roger price member for mt druitt former pmg/telecom engineer a long time ago,at least i think he was an engineer or high up in commercial dept resigned for politics which is compulsory in the public sevice.
anyway mt druitt 30years ago had one pay phone why they would lasso them on saturday night and drag them down,yep even in my time in telecom all the do gooders were on about payphones
well everyone practically has a mobile,and the few payphones in mt druitt today are not destroyed.
they have trialled all sorts of payphones to beat vandals it like a competition for vandals to see how quickly they can destroy them,they should probably provide them with local call access only and no charge
