You traditionally spout your $100b figure, but have never put up any substance to validate your claim.
I've put up plenty of substance to validate my claim over the months. You choose to ignore them because you want taxpayers to pay for your glorified TV streaming service. Doesn't matetr anyway, Labor are getting kicked out thankfully so the real figure that would have been lost is never going to eventuate.
A for coalition, I don't agree with their plan either as I have stated a number of times. My preference would be to provide realistic incentives for private enterprise to continue rolling out what they were already doing before Labor cut out all the incentives for private enteprise participation and competition in infrastructure to develop another commincations monopoly.
But if we're going to use taxpayers money to build the NBN, the coalition plan is much more logical and will ultimately cost a much smaller percentage of Labor's grandiose plan. Why? Because not every household will be connected to the home, because the majority of homes don't need to be connected to the home because they don;'t need the speeds. User pays, the most logical way to do it.
