I saw that misleading article in the West Australian. At least in the last paragraph they did own up that they were probably the only users at the time of the test and that explained their high speeds.
Reality is that 4G in actual commercial use will not come anywhere near NBN speeds and if everyone was on 4G speeds would be like dial-up. But don't let facts get in the way of a good political rant questioning the NBN.
