You got the hook there fish! As far as I am concerned the sell off of the people's instrumentalities was the biggest con ever foisted upon Australians. And what upsets me oh sooooooo much is that Labor played a part in it.In fact they actually started the process. Beasley began the sell of off of the people's telecommunciations system, Telstra which (and I am taking into account that they did have faults) provided service to all and sundry no matter where they lived in our big sparse land. All of the opportunists got in for the grab, looking for a cheap buy (CBA @ $7.00 etc) with monopolistic ideas and the subsequent rip off of consumers in mind. I would like an analysis of the contribution which is being made to our foreign debt by profits foregone to overseas interests from all of this. Shame Labor. Shame Liberal. Shame opprotunistic politicans who bought cheap time by selling off the farm.
