    David Braue, of ZDNet, doubts if the Coalition could and should dismantle NBN Co. He writes:

    "Surely, even Malcolm Turnbull would realise that this [buying out Telstra's copper network] would be an even worse way to spend taxpayer money than the fibre NBN against which he has so vehemently fought. At least if you spend billions on fibre, you end up with a new and future-proof network, rather than inheriting the problems and idiosyncrasies of 15 years of Telstra's architectural ambivalence."

    This article, because it questions the Coalition's broadband policy, may be seen as biased toward Labor's NBN by some. But really it advances an argument that makes a compelling case to have the NBN's project completed.

    I also think that is the most sensible thing to do considering what Telstra and the telecommunication industry in general have been investing to enter the NBN environment.
