You are correct March09, the accounting standard does not explain the motivation for the reclassification. The accounting standard permits them to reclassify some of that goodwill as a distinct asset so that is what they have done.

If they are trying to flog off the Nexcode rights to somebody, they could point to the Covenant Equity Consulting Sdn Bdn valuation of the rights and point to the accounts to lend more credibility to their valuation. The Covenant Equity Consulting Sdn Bdn does not count for much as it a figment of management's imagination, achhooo, excuse me management's forecasts of revenue and profitability.

What is more intriguing for me is who has been buying Nexbis shares since the announcement about suspension of the Malaysian contract. What explanation or thoughts do you have for the buyers?

It can't be confirmed that it is Orbis buying the shares as we have not seen any substantial shareholder change notices and yet there has been sufficiently high volume to expect it. I would have thought the Nexbis share price would have reached 14c or lower.

I can't help thinking insiders with some knowledge of impending "good" news are hoovering up shares pending the announcement. I can't explain why or what the "news" may be. If you have an explanation please put it forward.
