This chart shows NEM (blue and white bars) vs Barrick GOLD (orange line).
While both charts trend down from about Dec 2022, NEM is 23.53% below GOLD, which was roughly at the same position at the start of the chart. I accept there are likely different factors affecting each companies share price, but NEM's decline is probably to do with NCM, so I am also in the camp of a strong rebound back to the mean once the dust has settled.

GOLD price at start of the chart was $16, and is currently $16. NEM price at start was $48 and is now $36.
