I'm a bit baffled too, my only conclusion is yesterday gold stocks were pricing in a bigger night in gold last night which didn't eventuate. Also now it even seems like they're pricing in a dip tonight and stop flush under yesterdays low.
Just my view, but feel a bit ripped off being the only big red blob on the ASX today (goldies in general).
I'm a bit baffled too, my only conclusion is yesterday gold...
