Amory- have you ever dreamed? Many have as it so happens & when one dreams the eyes are usually closed but I, for one conjur up images of all sorts of imaginations, & with the eyes closed even the blind can 'see' & one of the first images that comes to view is pink elephants therefore the blind can see. The human eye can only see in a very limited light spectrum, in fact so limited it is minute. If we could 'see all' we would see through people as in an xray vision for example.
