I think the following confirms what I wrote in my previous post:

NCM jumped another 70 cents after 4 pm. to close at $37.25, a $1.24 rise for the day.

There were some huge single bids in the pre close auction after 4pm. such as a bid for more than 4.55 million shares at $41.06 and another bid for more than 3.3 million shares at $40.00.

Today on the ASX NCM had a turnover of 24.319 million shares. That's worth more than $750 million.
