One speech on unemployment and correlations to gdp growth, which was super boring and said , fed policies should continue to support ( no new QE, but any excuse) and bank the usa futures went off, along with gold and everything,,,,except nat gas ....this on the back of a german ifosurvey which had already turned europe market down three qtrs of a percent to up three qtrs of a pc......

Just about all currency driven, with euro around 131/2 now up around 134, aud over 1.5 cents, and the result vix plumenting to very low 14 area and many stocks hitting all time highs on usa markets..... Wild end of qtr trading is here......

Sp, taking your prices from 2007, quadruple the register and lift the aud from say sixty vs usd to 105, add some production problems, a carbon tax in oz, some clouds over ownership in malaysia, some lost synergies and a couple of hundred million dollars in unbudgetted repairs and probably easier to understand why ncm is at these prices

Will be interesting today to see if the instos continue to sell down after what is expected to be a short term pop.....usd gold price rise looks great at 40 dollars in two day, aud gain less than twnty dollars in the same two days

Spot gold trade 416 m usd, which is nothing to write home about....

Euro looks risiculously overstretched vs usd considering its economies and expect markets to give it all back near term,,,vix just seems way to low and the fact that the market moved on a speech says to me the beach is going to be a far safer place to be.....
