I've just read the article you posted round lunch time.
The one by Terry McCrann titled 'AMP's future hangs by a UK market thread'.

I know a bloke who's made a lot of $$$ shorting AMP for the last couple of months.
Chartists told him to stop on Monday, reckoned a turning point had shown up.
Both he and the AMP share price ignored them.
