I also suggest you go through the ASX site and checkout the info on Warrants/Options. While it certainly doesn't provide enough detail for you to start trading, it will give you a good rundown on the terminologies and basics.
A great book on trading is "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefevre.
