Reason I think BHP maybe keen on NCX if they can grow more higher grade .5% Cu near surface the whole Open-pit project using present and forward projections looks a great asset ..

As we know all the major miners want to expand into Copper ....

BHP mined in the exact same location successfully built the infrastructure

When NCX did their old 2021 numbers they used USD $3.25lb Cu $1650 Au and they come out with AISC for just the 50,000t Cu pa 22yr LOM 68c per lb(present price $4.60!!)less metal credits.. why Cu Au + other minerals are great lower cost Cu producers
