Dear LIS Board,

I am writing as a concerned shareholder to express my thoughts on how the company can improve its communication with shareholders and the market during this current phase of customer testing of our lithium-sulfur battery technology.
Firstly, I commend the progress the company has made in developing and delivering batteries for real-world applications.
However, I believe there is significant room to improve transparency, which could positively impact shareholder confidence and the company’s stock price.
The need for non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) is understandable, particularly in protecting the identities of potential clients. However, the lack of substantive updates has left shareholders without crucial insights into the company’s progress. For instance:
The number and size of batteries sent to clients (e.g., whether they are 20V or higher) have not been disclosed.
Charging and discharging rates of the batteries—critical performance metrics—have also never been communicated.
While confidentiality is vital, I believe the company can provide more specific and meaningful updates without breaching NDAs. Generalized updates such as the number of units shipped, their specifications, and performance benchmarks (e.g., charging/discharging rates) would go a long way in instilling confidence in the company’s progress and technical viability.By balancing necessary confidentiality with transparency, the company can better showcase its achievements to shareholders and the broader market. In doing so, you may foster greater investor confidence and potentially improve the stock’s performance.Thank you for considering this feedback.
