NDIS participants too will benefit greatly from robotics. and this will bring down the costs, probably significantly after purchase costs are completed.
but elderly in Aus will have a hard time adjusting to non-human 'carers' and the Japanese have done. we could learn a lot from Japan in how to introduce robotics into homes first so that they become ubiquitous. we're already on that path but Japan has been working on this for over 20 years. we have a lot of catching up to do.
