    I read a few things on Schumpeter. yes its unfortunate for him that Keynes attracted the spotlight so completely.

    the concept of creative destruction is pretty clear in our time as so much technology is rapidly transforming our whole capitalist paradigm and electric infrastructure. and entrepreneurs have been touted as the cutting edge since Keating and now commonplace, so much so that the various business cycles are compressed and business streams become fragmented as new commercial opportunities open up left and right.

    as for the socialist/fascist, imo the socialist in Russia has always been the brand to maintain the old Tsarist system with new rulers. it was really only the means of centralising all resources and authority/power. and fascism isn't solely an extreme left problem, capitalism too is as much at risk, even democracy itself. the US election is compulsive viewing.
