I work in the disability sector and have quite good knowledge of the NDIS funding model. Getting accreditation as service provider although onerous is not difficult. The complexities come with the individual's funding package and what items are included. the NDIS does not fund schools, it does fund individuals so for KNM to be NDIS funded it should be included as part of the individual's funding plan which is reviewed every 12 months. I find it difficult to see NDIS as a huge market in the short term. there could be potential for day services and some individuals receiving 1:1 care at home whose carer's opt to buy the license but it will never replace the need for a carer..all in my opinion
