the rorts were so ignored for so long that it is easy to shut down those scams first. and thats exactly whats happening. registration is said to take a couple of years and then policing the providers to ensure compliance... but very worthwhile.
I'm not talking from the govt perspective though. this is about getting NDIS functional and affordable. Shorten looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and out for a duck but he's getting some things repaired.
we'll see sometime in the next 6 months I think, there should be a report on how these changes have effected costs.
