clearly the mojority of people on this thread are new to the stock...
the philippines is now in the middle of its cyclone season and this type of thing is nothing new.
last time they shut down for a considerable length of time was due to the operator, GPC, being a newbie to the game and not thinking through there mooring system for an operation in this type of environment. they shut-down put in a new one which is able to withstand much harsher conditions....
that isnt to say they wont have to shut down every now and then when it gets particularly harsh.
a few days down time here or there is nothing new to the oil industry.
where is Par15 - need some stimulating discussion again.
