ND prices dropped 1 RMB / KG not much of a change but a change in direction.
This drop is 20% of the 3 price rises we have seen in the last 4 months. The question needs to be asked why now. China’s is supposedly cutting back on production. Lynas output of NdPr should be stopped by now. Either one or both of the above two statements is not true. Or Demand is falling. I will leave it to all of you to decide. Or maybe it is just a fluke and will soon rise again. I doubt this but it is a possibility.
Though small we should not forget to look at total change going back to March when Prices were over USD 47.00 Now under $40.
