Shelves in US have been filled for years with Made in China. Actually a bit of a game to find stuff NOT made in China. Our open markets cost us dearly, but politicians hoped that China would open up in return. Didn't happen.
Trump is spot on.
China is not a major market for American workers goods. Agriculture products will be sold tho those countries which China now buys from. It's food, folks, a more important and fungible commodity than REEs.
