    “Namely indicating that typical hard-rock projects have an overall low heavy rare earth feedstock as percentage of the MREC with ~10% HREO vs 40% HREO fro IAC. It's typically why IAC's supply 95% of the global HREO.

    If that hard rock MREC was being fed into a down stream HRE processing plant, it wouldn’t be economic. But that’s not what Lynas plans to do.

    LAMP produces a higher purity HRE MREC product called SEG, that will be used as feedstock for the downstream HRE processing plant. Essentially it’s a by product of LRE production, which makes the HRE separation plant economics much more attractive.

    Not sure about Bayan OBO deposit containing 6% HRE. I’ve read publications that state it’s 3%.
