Another Week of almost no action. Concentrate and every Oxide and metal were down, but just a small amount. The only exception was PrO which was Unchanged at 530RMB / KG WV. NdPrO was only down 4 RMB. Hard to see on a chart. Not ready to say this is a top yet but it is a pause for sure. It is at prices that will mean tinny profits and negative cash flow for Lynas.
Magnets Several months ago SMM added lots of new blank types to their magnet list. These were all 1.5 to 2.5 X more expensive than the traditional one's listed. Since then, these have gone up a lot. For example, the 40EH is up 30 RMB for week and 55RMB for month to 435RMB /KG WV. Vs one of the more popular Magnets N38 which is up 15 RMB for month and unchanged for week at 170 RMB WV. When SMM added these, I did some searching and could find nothing about them. What they are? What they are used for? Volume used? For now I do not think these high-end magnets are important to Lynas now.
Changing the scales makes pause easier to see.
