This downturn is strengthening. I think we are in for a few years of stagnation on RE prices and we have to get used to China calling the shots. Lord help us if Malaysia starts carrying on after March 2026. The Malaysian government is still very cosy with China as we just saw at ASEAN. My concern.
RE oxides down yet again.
What a disappointment this metals sector has been the last two years. I remember reading many commentators predicting a recovery 2022-2023, not hard to find on google. The articles parallel what hotcopper posters were also saying since underlying global problems hadnt surfaced, ie Chinas huge woes, and an improvement in metal prices did seem imminent. Last year copper was the big hoo haa. Today it's faltering. I think we're about to see a bust in the entire metal sector.
No Chinese stimulus at the latest conference announced as I suspected. Too much went in during covid.They are letting their domestic inefficiencies collapse. . AL will have her work cut out for her now and I doubt a recovery 2025. We are going into a reset. IMO.
