You are right on one thing, it may be long and slow for the eastern markets…but you’re barking up the wrong tree there. You are missing the biggest change to this industry since the EV itself.
LYC sits over on the western supply chain, protected from the eastern spot prices, and with introduction of tariffs and mandates to source stock ex-China are selling on the western market.
This market has a completely new set of rules, including premium pricing aka- price elasticity, ant least 25% higher than the spot market of China.
As you are completely aware because of your economic classes you took. This means demand by far exceeds supply. @suitsurfer above modeled the effect. We all know that from our economic classes this means higher prices..quick and fast.!
With this excessive shortfall, expect LYC SP to go through the ceiling!!
