Reading between the lines of what you said, Lynas cannot survive on its own. It survives by Government grants and Government REE price controls.

Governments are fickle do you want to invest in a company that relies on them? Whose main products price is totally controlled by China.
Yes Lynas can sell all they make. AL loves to point this out, it is only half the story the other half is price. AL said over a year ago they would only finish La and Ce for critical customers. The price is just to low to justify finishing. Their product is high quality and desired by customers. The customers of Lynas have to stay competitive with companies buying from China and that puts a limit on what those customers can pay. This is often ignored by many with hold and buy ratings on this board. WW sales outside of China are not exclusively Lynas China is many times larger tin this market than Lynas. Here is a chart showing expected total REE sales in 2024 and where they are going. Lynas Total sales for FY 2024 were AUD 477M which is USD 712M / by total 6B= so using this chart we can expect Lynas to be about 12% of WW sales.

The only thing that can grow a company and pay for expansion or dividends is profits. You can borrow money or sell stock long term neither of these grows EPS. Revenue is Volume times price. Selling all you can make at a very low price does not increase revenue!!!. Profits are Revenue - expenses. I am fairly certain we will see expenses increase dramatically FY 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025. Much of this is the expensing of CAPEX so that will be an increase of 80M / yr. A more vivid example is 2023 AR PG 56 shows EPS of AUD 0.5995. JMO this will drop to less than 0.11. 14 Analysis say 0.08 Usin10 cents That says EPS which is what Lynas is returning to you either as growth has dropped 83%. in 2 years. Lynas is only earning 1.7% on your shares at a AUD 6.00 SP Do you consider that good. Can you point out anything solid that might raise this to 5% in the next year?

The REE elements % vary in different parts of the mine vary, in general Nd & Pr is about 30% La and Ce are about 60% and 10 % is HREE and other things. La and CE are not separated out till the solvent exchange process. So when these products are not finished all the money spent processing and shipping them goes into tailings. In Q4 NdPr was about 70% of product Which means a large amount of Ce and La went into tailings because it was not economical to finish, yes they sold all they finished. only a fraction of what they could have. That is the complete story. Here is a chart to that shows that dramatic change. All data from Q reports so you can verify it.
