Two major reasons are to see what price is needed for fair profits by comparing the A$541M of 2022. and the $341. of 2023 to what REE prices were at that time. Notice Expenses will increase dramatically in the next few years. The first increase is in the 2025 Q3 report bottom of page 7. by End of FY 2026 this will add A$50M ~ $75M PA to expenses with operating expenses and CAP X depreciations. As Lynas utilizes different resource the Rest of A$1.7B - $800M for KAL= 900M. will also start to be depreciated. The CAP X spending grew A $ 321 M in first 3 Qs of 2025 and is still growing, it will be more than A$ 1.71B before 2025 plan is complete. Chart 4 shows CAP X spending for 2025 plan. Chart 1 shows long term REE RMG WV prices. Chart 2 I use for analyzing Displacements, Velocity and Acceleration of NdPrO Prices. So year to date prices have only gone up US$ 5,669 / KT or a stead rate of $1.13 / KT per month the last month has gone up almost 4 X faster at $3,912. But Even this rate if it was to continue with out interruption would take over 17 months before profits were the same as 2023 profits A$310M.
