In response to your qn there are a few others doing RE separation ROW; La Rochelle in France now recycles phosphors. (Can't work with ore anymore due to Th/U concerns.) Neo have the Silmet plant in Estonia functioning and the likes of Ucore are planning Nth American projects. Iluka in Oz are also thinking about it.
My understanding is that the retirement of Kam Leung - long term Lynas legend and tech savant- has been some time coming and not at all unexpected. As such I expect succession planning has been thorough.
My only real concern about Lynas ATM is their inability to be going absolutely gangbusters:making heaps and taking some steam out of the currently overblown (IMO) pricing environment.
Sustained NdPr prices this high will encourage thrifting, substitution and competition none of which I particularly welcome. US$100/kg would be ample going foreward IMO.
