I remember reading a month or two back (on SMM) about mag makers using their 2-3 month worth of inventory while waiting for prices to stabilise. I guess current price hike could mean inventories reached a level where buying had to commence again..
With mag demand being very high, I'd speculate we have a new pricing 'floor', some 70-80% higher than previously.
