Well as far as shady operators remaining in business, look no further than J P Morgan. The bank has had 5 felony counts as well as numerous non felony charges brought against them. For goodness sake they admitted they rigged the foreign exchange market and the precious metals market (twice). Yet they trade on and Jamie Dimon is allowed to remain CEO with an increased salary. JP Morgan has the largest share holding in the NY Fed, so Jamie gets to investigate himself sometimes. You either cry or you laugh
