Lynas Nd and PR sold separately = $348 6% price improvement.
Right now Lynas has no separated NdPr so quoting Nd is a little off. Part of NEXT is to Separate some of the NDPR. I think AL gave general details at AGM. I am not going to go search it out. My memory is that it was about 25% of todays NdPr and this was going to be one of the last things done in NEXT. Oxides of La and Ce and separating more La and CE from blend came first. If anyone has the correct numbers please correct me.
In general the 6% price improvement does not impress me for the effort involved. I do trust the management team. My guess is that it offers new markets and gives them leverage with some Customers that need a separated product. Just my opinion but this move is probably more strategic than $ driven.
