On May 16, according to a leader of Baotou Steel, it is predicted that rare earth national reserve will be carried out in the middle of 2018 and in the second half of 2018. Together with environmental protection and combat against illegal activities, it will boost rare earth price. It is estimated that Baotou Steel will reach RMB 2 billion of net profit in rare earth business in 2018.
